Raipur chhattisgarh VISHESH : Bacheli, August 2026: Two nos. Komatsu make 50 KL capacity water sprinklers equipped with firefighting arrangements were inaugurated at Bacheli Complex, further strengthening dust suppression and firefighting preparedness at the mining operations.
The water sprinkler bearing Project Sl. No. WT-8 has been commissioned at Deposit-10/11A, while Project Sl. No. WT-9 has been commissioned at Deposit-5. The keys of the newly commissioned equipment were handed over by the representative of M/s L&T in the presence of Shri Shreedhar Kodali, HOP, and Shri T. Shiva Kumar, CGM (Production).
The newly inducted 50 KL water sprinklers are expected to play a vital role in effective dust suppression at both mining areas, thereby contributing to a cleaner, safer and healthier working environment. The integrated firefighting arrangement will further enhance the preparedness and response capability of the mines in dealing with fire-related emergencies.
The commissioning of these advanced utility vehicles marks another significant step towards strengthening operational efficiency, environmental management and safety standards at Bacheli Complex.
