Raipur chhattisgarh VISHESH Raipur -23.08.2024 Under the aegis of National Rifle Association of India, a shooting competition was organized by Chhattisgarh Rifle Association at the shooting range of Mana, 346 shooters took part in the competition, shooters who came mainly from all the districts of Chhattisgarh attracted everyone’s attention with their shooting. This competition is organized every year by Jindal Steel and Power Limited. This championship, which started from 13th August, was concluded by Sports Minister Shri Tankram Verma on 23rd August. Congratulating all the participants, Tankram Verma encouraged the players of the state to play at the international level and also congratulated Jindal Steel for this event and encouraged those participants who could not go ahead in this competition to participate in the competition. Only one achievement was mentioned.
The Prime Minister’s Khelo India scheme was also mentioned, where in order to promote sports activities, he also talked about resuming the sports investiture ceremony which had been closed.
This time 385 players participated in this competition in which 115 players made their place in Mavalankar in different categories in this competition.
Events of 50 meter rifle, 10 meter pistol, rifle 25 meter and air and center fire pistol were held in which Faiza Memon won the gold medal in the category of the best player.
